July 19 Omemee Landscaper Hosts Central Ontario Bee Keeper Potluck Picnic - All Welcome!

Green Side Farm Omemee Announces Central Ontario Beekeepers’ Association Summer Meeting and Potluck Picnic! 

 Sunday, July 19th, Green Side Up Farm, Omemee will host the Central Ontario Beekeepers’ Association Summer Meeting and Potluck Picnic. All are welcome.

Join in the fun at this informative Potluck Picnic at Green Side Up Farm, 2pm  Sunday, July 19th, at 121 Grassy Road, Omemee. The Agenda for this meeting includes:

  • Demonstration: Making molds for candle production by Julius Arnold, experienced beekeeper and candle producer. 
  • Tour: Native Plant Nursery by Doug Kennedy, owner Green Side Up Environmental Services and Landscaping  
  • Report: COBA’s participation at the Lavender Festival at Laveanne Lavender in Campbellcroft by Sherry Summersides, COBA Executive member 
  • Display: Various Methods of Successful Feeding of Bees by Todd Kalisz, Dancing Bee Apiaries and Bee Supplies. 
  • Display: AZ (Slovenian) Beehive by Lenka Petric and John MacFarlane
All are welcome to join in the fun.Non-members who would like to attend meetings will be asked to pay $5 per meeting. or the whole family can join the Central Ontario Bee Keepers Association for only $15. Fees can be paid at any COBA meeting.
Please bring:

  • Your favourite potluck contribution, as well as your own plates, cutlery and lawn chair 
  • Gadgets, tools, equipment or stories that you would like to share with members. 

Come prepared to have a good time.
