Omemee Area Fall Foliage Vantage Points

Omemee Offers Great Fall  Photography Vistas
Omemee Area rolling "roller coaster" hills that thrilled us as youngsters  when our parents would see how far they could coast, offer great vantage points for beautiful panoramic views of autumn's splendour. One of the highest points in our area is Tracy's Hill. From Tracy's Hill looking east, you can see Downeyville -a tiny village halfway between Omemee and Bobcaygeon.
One of our Twitter friends, @Laurie Downey, tweeted this beautiful view of Downeyville to us inspiring this post.:

One vantage point not shown on the topographic map is the the Trestle bridge just north-east of Omemee. on the Kawartha Rail Trail that runs between Peterborough and Lindsay. The rail bridge may give the most breath-taking view of autumn leaves in our area.
