NDP Seeks Fair Auto Insurance Input!

Rural Ontarians know driving is a necessity, not a luxury. Recent changes to the Unemployment Insurance Act requiring people to accept jobs within 1 Hour driving distance, have made driving even more of a necessity. Starting this week, hearings will be held on Ontario’s auto insurance system. The NDP would like to hear your concerns about auto insurance.

In many communities, people need their cars to get to work and to school, to take care of elderly parents, and to take the kids to practice.

Getting your vehicle insured shouldn't have to break the bank. But it does, and Ontario families are especially feeling the squeeze. We’re paying the highest rates in the whole country.

Ontario’s rates are the highest because auto insurance is a mess in our province.

New Democrats want to bring consistency to the system. Our first initiative seeks to end discriminatory billing based on where you live.

We need your help to make change.

This is an opportunity for you to be heard.

Do you have concerns about auto insurance?

Have you had a bad experience insuring your car for the road?

Please help us make the auto insurance system fairer in Ontario by sharing your stories.

Email me your auto insurance story right now now at yoursay@ndp.on.ca

Thank you,
